Connecting From Off Campus

During these remote working times, we wanted to give you a reminder of how to access the CMS from home. This is only required when working from home.  If you are on campus this is not necessary.

  1. You will first need to install the Vassar VPN software.

    Instructions for installing VPN on your computer.

    The VPN service is administered through CIS. If you have problems installing it, contact the service desk.

  2. Once you’ve installed the software, connect to the campus via the VPN.

  3. Go to, and log in using your existing Vassar username and password.

  4. If you do not have access to your website in the CMS, request permission through
